General information that most people never think off

The biggest mistake people make when seeking employment, applying for learnerships and/or bursaries is that they don't take the process seriously.

Having a well written CV, an appropriate and well written Advert Response note and Candidate Motivation is vitally important BUT it is not all it takes to secure employment. Gaining employment is like studying for a final exam - you need to study the entire process and realise that you can't choose what you want to and don't want to learn. After studying the entire program realise that there a few more elements that need to be studies and they include aspects like:

  • What should you and/or what should you not say about an ex-employer, teacher or company;
  • Where does the truth start and stop;
  • Harassing an employer and/or being rude or disrespectful on an e-mail;
  • Being outgoing, happy and telling jokes in an interview;
  • "Knowing it all" and the impression this will leave;
  • Know that you always have options.
